Technical Support Agent – Customer Service Job with Wakefield Council

We are looking for a Technical Support Agent – ​​Customer Relations to join our innovative road network management team.

The goal

The objective of this role is to ensure that contacts with Road Network Management (HNM) are handled efficiently in order to maintain a good perception of the service. Training will be provided.

What could I do?

  • You will provide general office support duties for managers and co-workers.
  • You will work closely with staff and the Customer Contact Center to ensure good quality and timely communications are provided in all forms (telephone, email, letters).
  • You will track the progress of match performance and statistics through the appropriate ICT system.
  • You will organize, on behalf of the managers, the meetings/rooms and welcome the guests, if necessary.

The required kit:

  • 4 GSCE or BTEC/ONC in a relevant field or considerable relevant experience.
  • Experience in face-to-face customer service roles.
  • Knowledge of office practice procedures.
  • Awareness of financial systems and PCB module procedures will be provided.
