Purpose of the position

Create an effective and dynamic student journey

Senior Program Support Officers will work with Program Support Officers and Program Support Officers to ensure that all administrative and support processes are effectively executed and aligned across all programs. You will be responsible for ensuring an excellent student journey and an escalation point for complex student queries.

what you gonna do

  • Handle more complex issues and student questions on behalf of Program Support Officers
  • Maintain data for student tracking and work with other teams to keep records up to date
  • Delegate student questions to relevant Program Support Officers
  • Development and facilitation of training for the program support team
  • Sending and checking the quality of all student communications
  • Replace program support managers as needed
  • Act as the first point of contact for student questions, respond quickly in accordance with SLAs, and ensure all issues are logged and resolved (escalated if necessary)
  • Ensure regular communication with learners
  • Deliver excellent customer service by providing comprehensive support to students across a range of programs and subjects
  • Ensure that academic and safeguard support is provided to students in accordance with relevant policies and procedures
  • Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running and operation of study programs
  • Contribute to suggestions for improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative processes
  • Liaise with internal services to ensure smooth running of programs, reporting any potential issues with program delivery
  • Liaise with external stakeholders as needed to support programs and their management
  • Ensure that all relevant documents, student records and student content remain up to date and accurate
  • Provide accurate reports to management and other stakeholders regarding student enrolment, attendance, progress and completion as required
