Rewards Management and Compliance Coordinator

The Opportunity

The purpose of this position is to coordinate rewards. The position plays a lead role in managing awards information, sharing and coordinating information between departments. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the SCI program meets all of its rewards management obligations internally within Save the Children and externally with donors and partners. This will include financial and narrative reporting related to donor awards and data quality in the Awards Management System (AMS). This position is specifically responsible for awarded awards and will ensure compliance with financial and administrative requirements, specific donor requirements and make recommendations for improvement, both for SCI and its partners.

In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the job holder will be required to work outside of the normal role profile and be able to modify working hours accordingly.

To pass, you will need to bring/have:

  • Support the delivery of capacity building to other CO teams and partner organizations
  • Build relationships with all members supporting SCI in Haiti, region and center and support escalation of issues as needed
  • Engage and coordinate multiple stakeholder groups to support the development of high quality proposals
  • Support the development of partnerships and ensure that capacity building plans are in action.)
  • Communicate and coordinate with member contacts to understand and record any changes related to donor compliance requirements and reporting dates
  • Facilitate award kick-off meetings, including focusing on donor requirements and ensuring they take place at the start of each award
  • Understanding of ICS processes and other key donor requirements and communicating and adhering to them
  • Perform award monitoring processes (financial analysis) and highlight financial issues to supervisors and budget holders and perform further analysis to resolve identified issues
  • Understanding of Donor Reporting Code (DRC) budget codes and ability to work with program team to determine appropriate structure
  • Produce management reports and escalate identified portfolio issues in a timely manner
