About the Opportunity

Like a Research Contracts & Administrative Support Officeryou will support the end-to-end management and administration of research and professional contract funding agreements, grants, tenders and fellowships.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • work as part of the post-award grant management team in the research portfolio
  • ensure the execution of contracts, grants and scholarships awarded in a timely manner
  • assume responsibility for university-wide administrative processes and procedures
  • build trusting relationships within a complex web of inter-university environments
  • work with members of search operations to systematically review administrative procedures.

About you

  • experience in research and grant administration, ideally in the higher education sector
  • experience managing a high volume administrative environment with strict deadlines
  • the ability to plan, prioritize and organize your own workload
  • ability to interpret policies and provide support using your own body of knowledge and experience
  • knowledge of national and international research funding opportunities, processes and policies
  • well-developed customer service skills and experience and can work independently under general direction.
