Regeneration Program Support Officer job at Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council

This role is a fixed-term contract until March 2026.

The Cabinet adopted the Regeneration Strategy, Project Pipeline and Action Plan for Business and Economic Recovery in March 2022. The Strategy will mobilize significant investment alongside other infrastructure and funding opportunities (such as the Leveling Up Fund), which means that Sandwell has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to ensure economic, social and environmental benefits reach our communities.

Working within the Regeneration and Growth Branch, this is a unique and rewarding opportunity to support the management of a diverse program of regeneration projects to create a strong and inclusive economy for Sandwell. The incumbent will work collaboratively with Board teams, partner organizations and other stakeholders.

Applicants should be trained to Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject, have at least 2 years of work experience in a busy office environment and experience working on projects and supporting service delivery.
