Our areas of work are Health, Nutrition, Education, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Protection, Shelter and Non-Food Items, Washing and Sanitation.

ALAMEEN also manages development projects, advocates for the empowerment of civil societies and local governance

About the role:

ALAMEEN search a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator provide technical and administrative leadership to develop the framework, plans and indicators for all projects in the institution to ensure the collection, analysis and reporting of quality data and to supervise all staff in the department of M&E in agreement with other department heads. The M&E Director will help apply organizational rules and principles to improve satisfaction, quality and reliability of the information system and strengthen decision-making capacity.


.Coordinate with program teams to develop and update performance monitoring plans and work with the donor on its implementation and update

Track and analyze project indicators and other useful statistics to prepare high quality and timely reports using recommended formats**

Provide participatory leadership and integrated M&E direction to ensure all projects achieve their goals and corresponding objectives and targets**

Ensure high quality implementation through institutional and national M&E guidelines, protocols, information and reporting systems**

Coordinate all M&E capacity building activities with M&E department staff, implementing partners and institutional staff**

· Provide technical advice and guidance on qualitative, quantitative and blended analytical studies and activities**

  • Oversee data collection and analysis to assess the impact of project activities
  • Ensure that effective reporting, data collection and monitoring systems are in place
  • Facilitate regular staff meetings to share experiences and lessons and brainstorm ways to apply new learnings

  • Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor


– Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (preferably in social sciences, economics or statistics), preferably master’s degree

· At least 3 years (with an undergraduate degree) of professional experience in M&E or information management or project management positions in an NGO.

Knowledge of major quantitative and qualitative monitoring methodologies and proven ability to design monitoring instrumentation tools

In-depth knowledge of program evaluation designs

Extensive experience in designing and implementing M&E capacity building activities

· In-depth knowledge of database development and maintenance

advanced skills in data analysis, presentation and report writing
