BANGOR – New England broadband consultancy Mission Broadband announced the recent hiring of Lee Willette as project manager and operational support.
Willette brings over 40 years of experience in the telecommunications industry to the growing Mission team. To date, he has spent most of his career building communications infrastructure in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, with a strong emphasis on operations.
In her new role, Willette aims to help customers oversee the construction and deployment of fiber optic networks while developing customer service support practices to facilitate broadband expansion for New England communities.
“Adding Lee to our team will expand and improve our customer operations and support offerings,” said Mission Broadband vice president and general manager John Dougherty. “Lee’s extensive experience in telecommunications will play a major role in helping our customers take advantage of the many opportunities to access broadband financing and navigate the process of network expansion.
Willette holds an Associate’s Degree in Electronics Technology from EMVTI in Bangor and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Husson College. Originally from Corinna, he currently resides in Roxbury, Vermont. Outside of work, Lee enjoys biking, hiking, and spending time at his family camp on Sebasticook Lake.
