Veridooh has announced the appointment of Mariam Sheikh-Hussein as a content and communications manager to help drive the company’s global growth and develop community-driven initiatives.
The newly created role follows Veridooh’s Capital raised of 5 million dollars, which it uses to develop in new markets, starting with the United Kingdom, and to develop its product range.
Cheik-Hussein will be responsible for public relations and marketing for the external verification firm, and will also provide editorial guidance to Veridooh’s internal and external communications. She will work closely with the company’s leadership teams across sales and product and report to the co-founders of Veridooh. Jeremy Yang and Mo Moubayed.
As part of her role, Cheik-Hussein – a former media journalist – will also work with industry experts to develop initiatives that showcase the creativity and value of outdoor advertising.

Veridooh has made a number of appointments this year, expanding its team in Australia to over 20 full-time employees after an average year-over-year growth rate of 400%.
Last week the company launched its UK team, its first team outside Australia, to meet local demand for independent verification.
