The role

  • Continuous, full time
  • $100,571 to $113,838 per year (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Bathurst, Wagga Wagga, Orange, Dubbo

The Manager, Student Connection provides leadership to a team that engages diverse student cohorts and facilitates meaningful student partnerships across Charles Sturt University. The role oversees support for student representatives, student clubs, international students and elite athletes in maximizing their experience at Charles Sturt University.

The Manager liaises between the academic and professional areas of the University to ensure a one-university approach and align working practices with University strategy.

To be successful, you will:

  • A degree with a substantial extension of theories and principles; or an equivalent level of knowledge acquired through any other combination of education, training and/or experience;
  • In-depth skills in financial management and budgeting;
  • Leadership expertise including strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills with experience in identifying, understanding and resolving opportunities for improvement, and a commitment to quality assurance;
  • Planning, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, and experience in delivering high quality services.
