Job: IT Support Manager at Tastee Fried Chicken – TFC

General objective / Purpose of the work

IT Support Agents will be primarily responsible for keeping cash registers, POS printers, computer systems, switches, data service, applications running smoothly and ensuring that users get maximum benefit from them.
They will also be responsible for all IT-related administrative support and related office operations. Act as a point of contact for all employees, provide technical support and manage their queries.

Roles and responsibilities

Maintenance of Sage Pastel Evolution servers at all 13 outlets, warehouse, TPL, CPU and event venue ensuring it is up and running thus providing accounting platforms for the accounting department can perform its duties.
Maintenance of all points of sale (POS) and the printer in the 13 points of sale.
Manage the mail server ensuring that it is operational, thereby ensuring that inter and intra departmental correspondence notes are transmitted electronically and that communication is maintained.
Maintenance of network routers and switches at head office and outlets, ensuring there is connectivity between outlets.
Maintenance of all company ICT assets including hardware and software.
Install and supervise the installation of computer equipment in all points of sale.
Installation and configuration of multimedia equipment and gadgets in meeting and event venues. Examples are board meetings, press briefings, executive, etc.
Troubleshooting and repair of the general network of the organization.
Repair corrupt computer systems to minimize replacement cost and maximize utilization at the expense of purchase.
Training of staff members on the correct handling of computer systems and equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, etc.
Training of front office staff members (CCP, vendors, etc.) on the correct use and handling of front office equipment (e.g. POS machines and printers, UPS) to optimize operations.
On-the-job training of certain staff members on the use of certain application software.

Qualifications / Skills required

Interested candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree
2 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
Excellent communication and analytical skills (oral and written)
Attention to detail
should be able to interact with all staff at all levels and executives.
Creative, open to new ideas and able to multi-task effectively
Good time management and planning skills
Good understanding of system hardware and T-Shoot
Good understanding of the Windows operating system (client and server)
Basic knowledge of IP network and system applications.
Knowledge of Saas & PaaS is a plus.
