The company is looking to hire a Claims Support Agent, who will be responsible for reviewing customer claims, determining eligible benefits and communicating with customers and customers (inbound and outbound calls) to provide a status report on their complaints. Additionally, you will be responsible for the preparation and submission of client reports, invoices and supporting documents.
The ideal candidate for this position should be highly analytical and possess a thorough knowledge of insurance industry policies and regulations. He/she must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Analyze and investigate complex insurance claims to help prevent fraud.
Perform detailed site inspections.
If necessary, provide well-informed court testimony.
Review and process new claim reports and court verdicts.
Maintain relationships and communication with insurance departments and customers.
Organize and present complaint review plans.
Resolve complaints in a timely manner.
Stay up to date on changes in local, state and federal insurance laws.
Good first degree in insurance or related field.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
Minimum of 2 years of related experience as a Claims Support Officer or in a similar role.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and pay attention to detail.
Good business writing and communication skills
