[HOUSTON, TEXAS, June 2022 —] Harrison Hydra-Gen is pleased to announce the hiring of Tanner Jacob as Senior Design Coordinator.
Jacob brings to the Harrison team over 17 years of Fleet Management, Paramedic Watch Captain and 9 years of ambulance design/sales experience. His in-depth and extensive knowledge of idle mitigation systems in the emergency services environment will be an exceptional asset to Harrison’s customers.
Tanner says, “I hope we can design around common misunderstandings of how vehicles are actually used and that the system will seamlessly integrate with how each department uses their vehicle. Our goal is to make the system autonomous without requiring user intervention, thus making the system as close to normal as the non-idle attenuated units in the customer fleet. I am beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to help coordinate the continued development of our hPower systems and remain committed to constant innovation, improving for emergency responders.
He has been appointed Senior Design Coordinator at Harrison and will be an integral part of the team working on our hPower battery idle reduction systems as well as the development of new mobile power technology projects. When he’s not developing safer and more effective idle-reduction technology, Jacob spends his time with his wife and three young sons.
Harrison Hydra-Gen President Richard Otwell said of Tanner’s hire, “We are thrilled to have Tanner join the team and look forward to the innovation he will bring to our hPower systems.
