An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Business Support Officer providing administrative support to the Deprivation of Liberty Team (DoLS) at Ryedale House.
As a Business Support Officer, you will handle new referrals, assessments, and other aspects of business support towards the DoLS pathway. This is a varied and rewarding role which would involve working closely with the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) team. You will assist with referrals and examinations, researching documentation, liaising with hospitals and care homes and a range of other administrative tasks. You will also be expected to provide a professional and high quality support service to operational staff and other members of the business support team based at Ryedale House.

What you will bring…
To be successful, you must have good keyboarding skills and experience in Word, Excel, databases and Outlook. Excellent communication and clientele skills are a must and you should also have good literacy and numeracy skills, be able to prioritize your own workload, be conscientious, well organized, have the ability to work unsupervised and be flexible in your approach. Due to the nature of the work, you must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information.
