We are actively looking for a BIM Manager to join our team. As a BIM Manager, you will leverage your enthusiasm, broad Revit and software knowledge, and organizational skills to facilitate seamless integration of software resources across the office. You will work closely with project team members to guide consistent adoption of company standards and best practices while providing key support in the production of our design products. Your initiative, technical skills and collaborative attitude will be integral to the success of our company’s increasingly complex projects.

Your main responsibilities will include:

· Prepare BIM execution plans (Revit) and project specific training documentation.

Guarantee the conformity of the consultant’s model to be used in the project’s BIM environment

· Manage and maintain project content and source any additional content as needed.

Create Revit content: families, schedules, components according to established standards and desired results

· Work closely with IT Consulting Partner MV+A and Office Manager to manage software licenses and oversee the installation of new software releases and updates consistently across the office.

· Research, introduce and implement new Revit related software, tools and efficiencies in support of process improvements.

· Keep staff informed of best practices in Revit

· Responsible for standards, implementation and enforcement of MV+A’s Revit standards.

· Provide Revit training internally and manage internal library of MV+A software training resources.

· Attend conferences, seminars and workshops on behalf of the company to transfer knowledge internally within the company

· Guide reviews of clash detection models in coordination with project teams using defined parameters.

Your qualities

  • Associates, bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a technically related field
  • Valid US work permit
  • Minimum 5 years of successful experience and enthusiasm for all things Revit.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Revit
  • Experience working in or with an architectural firm
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of organizational and communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal team members
  • Be a person of great initiative and a thirst for learning
