APC Forum appoints former House of Rep VP as National Coordinator

Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and Committee Member Bola Ahmed Tinubu Sterling in Taraba State, Hon. Babangida Nguroje has been appointed as the new National Coordinator of the Forum of EX-Legislators of the Congress of All Progressives in Nigeria.

The forum is made up of former Federal Legislators and former Chief Officers of State Assemblies who are members of the APC in Nigeria.

Hon. Nguroje replaced the forum’s former National Coordinator, Hon. MC Saad Tahir, who defected to another political party in the just-concluded party primaries ahead of the 2023 general election.

Forum Secretary, Hon. Patty Etete said the selection of Hon. Nguroje was based on experience, the forum’s remaining zoning arrangement which ensures fairness, justice and equity as well as the confidence that he would bring the forum into the national political equation. of the country and also protect its interests when the need arises.

He said having been part of the Tinubu movement before, Hon. Nguroje will bring his base of contacts, influence and leadership skills to ensure the noble group is in the scheme of things.

Honorable Etete stressed that the members of the forum have the task of ensuring the victory of the party at all levels, and urged all the structures that existed before the party primaries to collapse and support the flag bearers of the party. APC at all levels.

He explained that the decision to crown the former vice-president was taken in Abuja on July 5, 2022 during the forum’s executive committee meeting.
