About the Student Administration Branch:

The Student Administration Branch, headed by the Academic Registrar and Director of Student Administration, comprises four main divisions: Administrative Services, User Experience, Student Systems, and the Office of the Academic Registrar and Director of Student Administration. administration of students. About enrollment and student records:

This unit is responsible for all student course registrations and the integrity of associated student records. This team places great emphasis on the quality of student data to ensure this is reflected in all reports. All registration processes are the responsibility of this team and they work in a culture of continuous improvement to ensure students and staff members have the best possible experience we can provide.

About the role:

Reporting to the National Manager, Student Registrations and Records, as Administrative Support Officer, you will provide accurate and efficient administrative support to the entire team to ensure the timely and efficient operation of all registration functions .

More specifically, the role consists of:

  • Use documented procedures, timelines and policies to ensure consistent, high quality administration and service delivery.
  • To provide a consistently high level of service to all users, proactively responding to inquiries and helping to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes and the development and maintenance of accurate and up-to-date documentation of all policies, timelines and procedures.
  • Contribute to the ongoing review and development of effective processes, procedures, policies and timelines.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of student administration data available in major student systems and provide guidance and information when requested.

You will need to have:

  • Have obtained a relevant degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
  • Excellent attention to detail and achievement of a high degree of accuracy when working with data and preparing communications.
  • Practical experience in the use of information technology, in particular the use of business information systems, databases and spreadsheets.
  • Demonstrate confidence and courage in achieving the ACU’s mission, vision and values ​​by linking the purpose of their work to the ACU’s mission, vision and values.
  • Demonstrated commitment to cultural diversity and the principles of ethical practice and demonstrated knowledge of equal employment opportunity and occupational health and safety, appropriate to the level of appointment.

Total compensation valued at $86,755 – $94,011 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component of $73,309 – $79,440 (pro rata) pa (HEW 5), employer contribution to retirement pension and the loading of annual leave.
