1. Henry Ruggs III, native of Montgomery faces an impaired driving felony charge in Las Vegas early Tuesday morning that resulted in the death of a woman involved. Carpet played football at RE Lee High School and became a featured player for the Crimson tide in Alabama football team. Ruggs and his passenger were injured in the crash, but the injuries were reported not to be life threatening. (WVTM13)

2. The Montgomery Region Food Bank reported difficulties due to shortages, supply chain issues and a lack of manpower. 3. A home daycare owner in Montgomery faces a wrongful death charge following the death of a 7-year-old. The lawsuit claims the child was left unsupervised and unsecured in a car seat and was strangled to death after becoming entangled in the car seat strap. (WSFA)
